Aotearoa Music Producer Series online workshop with CHAII and Frank Keys

Story Published Monday 22 November 2021
AMPS 2021 Online Zoom Seminar

The New Zealand Music Producer Series (now AMPS) launched in 2017 and has become an integral part of upskilling Aotearoa’s production sector. The series has attracted the participation of some formidable international producers including: Andrew Scheps, Sylvia Massy, David Wrench, Gil Norton, Romesh Dodangoda, Dave Eringa and Mark Rankin.

AMPS are looking forward to announcing their 2021 dates which have been postponed for the short term. In the lead-up, AMPS is presenting a series of online workshops in partnership with Recorded Music New Zealand, to keep our production sector engaged, learning, and inspired.

The invitation is now live for our first workshop - featuring CHAII and Frank Keys. CHAII and Frank have coproduced and co-written a plethora of songs, with their work on CHAII’s artist project finding a huge audience locally and abroad; as well as picking up major syncs with Apple, Netflix, and Fortnite.

In this workshop we will discuss both of their careers to date, their co-production workflow, and break down the multi-track session for Chaii's track Lightswitch.

Wednesday 24th November, 10am NZT on Zoom
