APRA is a non-profit organisation that administers the rights of the world’s composers. APRA’s role is to monitor the performances and broadcasts of your compositions, and to distribute royalties to you as the composer.

We represent over 119,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy, record or make available our music, and then we distribute the royalties to our members, and to international affiliate societies who then pay their members.

Being an APRA member also makes you eligible for various awards, grants and funding, SongHubs, and more songwriting related initiatives
