We're deeply saddened to share the news today that Ross McNab, a stalwart and legend of the country music community in Aotearoa, passed away peacefully in his home in Balclutha on Friday July 17.
Ross has been involved in running the NZ Country Music Awards and MLT Songwriting Competition in Gore for many years, and has been a strong and passionate advocate for country musicians and songwriters in NZ. Ross was also a wonderful guitarist and musician, turning out tunes from his Sweetway Studios in Southland.
He will be greatly missed.
