Group breakout sessions with local organisations who are available to assist your music career: Recorded Music NZ, DRM, NZ Music Commission, Music Manager's Forum, NZ On Air, and Dominion Law/choicevaughan.

Welcoming back our "Meet the Industry" speed dating for APRA members who wish to learn more about local organisations available to support your music career. We invite members to arrive early for snacks/drinks and to connect with each other before breaking off into small groups with our special guests below:

Dean Cameron – Recorded Music NZ: Recorded Music NZ is the industry representation, advocacy and licensing organisation for recording artists and their labels.

Emily Crowther – NZ Music Commission/Aotearoa Touring Program Manager: The NZ Music Commission provides music upskilling tools and resources through multiple progammes and kaupapa. The Aotearoa Touring Programme facilitated by NZMC is a contestable fund helping to invest in approved domestic touring costs, to enable more NZ artists to grow sustainable careers and increase the access to live music for NZ audiences.

Lorraine Owen - Music Managers Forum: Music Managers Forum Aotearoa is the collective voice for music managers and self-managed artists, both signed and independent. The MMF Aotearoa is an independent, non-profit trade association dedicated to helping grow artist manager businesses through education,networking and advocacy.

Andy Morris – DRM: DRM NZ provides global access to all major distribution sources and full management of your content as a certified, trusted and engaged MCN.

Sarah Thomson – NZ On Air: NZ On Air fund the development, recorfding and promotion of single songs and multi-song projects. They run multiple puoro funding rounds throughout the year.

Joel Tashkoff – Dominion Law/Artist (choicevaughan): Dominion Law are an entertainment law firm based in Aotearoa who represent clients in the music industry, film studios and large media companies. Choicevaughan is an award-winning producer and songwriter who has worked with a host of reputable songwriters across Aotearoa.
