SongHubs Aotearoa is a series of collaborative song-writing retreats that APRA AMCOS presents across Aotearoa New Zealand. These intensive songwriting camps bring together APRA AMCOS members and renowned songwriters and producers to create new hits.
With the generous support and involvement of NZ On Air and the New Zealand Music Commission, we're delighted to be coming to Ōtepoti/Dunedin in November... And applications to attend are now open!
SongHubs Ōtepoti will run from 21 - 25 November 2022 and will be held at Te Korokoro o te Tūī - University of Otago Performing Arts Centre.
Curator Sam Trevethick aka Sambora has gathered some of Aotearoa's most beloved and unique creators (Ladi6, Emily C. Browning, Shayne P. Carter, Abigail Knudson) to collaborate with songwriters from the mainland and around the country at Te Korokoro o te Tūī (the voice-box of the Tūī) at University of Otago - School of Performing Arts.
SongHubs functions as an intensive, commercially focused songwriting residency, providing unique collaborative opportunities for both published and unpublished songwriters and composers, irrespective of genre.
If this sounds like a bit of you - check out the link below to see T&C's and make an application today for SongHubs Ōtepoti.
