Soundcheck Aotearoa are offering Professional Respect training online for the first time! Our amazing facilitators have worked the training day content into two parts to be delivered via interactive zoom sessions on two separate days.
Professional Respect training is a full day in person, or in two parts online, focusing on preventing and responding to sexual harm in workplaces in the music community. The training is friendly and interactive, with content covering definitions of sexual harassment and sexual harm within New Zealand legislation, guidance for receiving disclosures and supporting survivors, practical tips for bystander intervention, WorkSafe obligations and legal requirements for workplaces, and strategies for prevention and fostering a respectful work environment.
We hope to see you soon at a training day. If you are looking for support, help, advice or resources relating to sexual harm, please check out the Resources and Tools section of our website here: https://www.soundcheckaotearoa.co.nz/resources-and-tools or reach out to us by email.
