The 58th Annual APRA Silver Scroll Awards | Kaitito Kaiaka were held at Spark Arena in Tāmaki Makaurau on Wednesday 4th October 2023, a wonderful celebration of Aotearoa songwriters, composers, and award winners. Over 500 guests were in attendance with many tuning into the live stream online.

While we're disappointed that our plans to hold an in-person event in October 2021, November, and early March 2022 were all thwarted, we were super thrilled to be able to celebrate the wonderful work of all our 2021 finalists and winners in an online broadcast.
Covid-19 presented some interesting challenges for the 2020 awards. Music Director Julia Deans helped us to craft a beautiful online show which was filmed all around the motu. Check out all the details including performances, presenters, winners, and more.
In 2019 the very colourful awards were held at Spark Arena in Tāmaki Makaurau, with Nathan Haines as the music director, and a very special induction into the NZ Music Hall of Fame.
It was an emotional year with some exceptional performances under the guidance of Bic Runga, who turned the ceremony at Spark Arena in Auckland into a glorious showcase of Aotearoa's brightest musical talent.
In 2017 we took the Silver Scroll Awards to Dunedin for the first time. It was a great southern celebration with Shayne Carter as Music Director and The Clean inducted into the NZ Music Hall of Fame.
