We’re excited to announce that the NZ On Air Homegrown Masterclass Seminars are back!

Held in Wellington on Friday 17 March, to coincide with Homegrown 2023, the NZ On Air Homegrown Masterclass Seminars 2023 is your chance to hear from a panel of experts from the music industry – and to ask all the questions you have about securing music funding, achieving radio airplay and growing your audience over social media.

Learn the ins and outs of music funding at NZ On Air, meet the NZ On Air Music Team and ask all the questions you may have about applying for NZ On Air music funding.

• Radio Programming 101: All you need to know about getting your music on radio
  3:00pm – 4:15pm

This masterclass is a panel session with radio programmers and music directors from commercial and student radio networks across Aotearoa – there to answer all the questions artists want to know when it comes to getting your music on radio.

• TikTok Music 101: All you need to know about getting the best out of TikTok
  4:30pm – 5:45pm

Meet the Music team from TikTok New Zealand and Australia as they take you through why, and how, to get the best out of TikTok from the artists' POV. In this TikTok masterclass seminar, you'll learn some of the features, as well as best practices, that make TikTok a leading music discovery and promotion platform.
