For events featuring a headline act, support acts, or a series of music performers where admission fees are charged. This licence may apply to a single event or a tour, or to a festival that is not eligible for the Festival licence.
2%* of gross admission fees (less credit card charges and ticket booking fees), subject to a minimum fee of $75.00 (excluding GST).

Festival being any music event, tour, festival or concert with a compulsory fee charged for admission and which meet all of the following criteria being an event:
- that occurs on at least one full day (being no less than 8 hours in advertised duration); and
- that is held at a place requiring temporary infrastructure to be constructed specifically for the purposes of the event, including as a minimum:
a. the construction of performance areas/stages; and
b. the presence of temporary perimeter fencing or controlled access by other temporary means; and
c. the provision of toilet facilities and a clean water supply; and
- in which the staging of the event and all associated advertising is not dependent on any one or two advertised acts; and
- that includes at least six advertised acts.

For performances where music is performed where there is no admission fee such as a performance in a park.

For events where music is featured, but not the primary focus of the performance such as comedy shows, exhibitions and fashion parades.

Our Sporting Event licence is for one-off games and events. The licence covers playing live and recorded music before, during and after the sporting event.

This annual licence covers performances by Groups, being a community band, performance group or choir, at community functions that do not generate a box office.

For performances of live artists or recorded music that do not fit any event types described above. Works performed at political events are excluded, unless the songwriter's prior approval has been obtained in writing.
Fees range from $75.00 (excluding GST), subject to music use and the number of events.
