APRA AMCOS has broadcast licence agreements with all Commercial, National Subscription and Community Television Stations, and reproduction licences in place where required.
Stations pay fees monthly based on a percentage of the station’s gross advertising revenue in that month. The rate varies from 1% to 2.9%. This rate depends on the amount of registered works broadcast as a percentage of their on-air time.
Community non-commercial Radio Broadcasters include Iwi, Access and student radio. Our Community Radio Licences are for radio stations broadcasting on an AM/FM signal. If you are looking for information on online-only radio stations, head over to Online licences.
We offer a Permanent or Temporary licence to Community Radio Stations covering broadcast, reproduction and online use on an “opt-in” basis, so stations only pay for what they need.
The Low Power FM licence is administered through OneMusic. The OneMusic Low Power FM broadcast licence is the only licence low power FM stations need to broadcast and simulcast music online.
It's important to note that the OneMusic Low Power FM licence does not include the permission to reproduce music, including production music.
A cue sheet is a record of all the songs and compositions used in a film and television production. We need these for every locally produced program broadcast in Australia, regardless of how the music was sourced.
We're here to help.
